It will be a relentless journey, with unpredictable weather, treacherous river ice, forests burning beneath the snow, and permafrost that hisses and bubbles. In the small villages along the Yukon River, people speak of changes that threaten to destroy the lives they have built.
The deeper Noor ventures into the Alaskan wilderness, the clearer the divide becomes between what belongs to the past and what is about to begin. Because sometimes the greatest dangers are not the ones around us. They lie buried beneath our feet.
GAIA – Zombie is a standalone novel in the Victims of Hothouse Earth series. A novel about one of the great turning points in the climate crisis – and what happens when what we believed was buried forever begins to thaw.
It is rare for us to see the consequences once the fire has been extinguished. It is difficult to imagine what a landscape of ash looks like. It made a strong impression on me to have it described.

Vi kedede os ikke ét sekund. Det her er storytelling med noget på hjerte og vi elsker det.
Bogbobler
Bogen er spændende, skræmmende og virkelig værd at læse. Forfatteren har igen sat sig ind i en mulig klimakatastrofe og bygget en roman op om det. Bogen burde være pensum for magthavere.
