Victims of Hothouse Earth - climate fiction series

Victims of Hothouse Earth is a critically acclaimed novel series within the genre of climate fiction, also known as cli-fi.

The series explores the terrifying consequences that climate change may bring for humanity if global warming continues on its current upward trajectory.

The number of climate refugees forced to leave their homes as climate change renders their regions uninhabitable is expected to grow explosively, and the global balance of power is likely to shift dramatically.

The Victims of Hothouse Earth series places the reader in the heart of it all, making them feel the changes firsthand.

The dream to become a writer

Writing a novel and having it published in book form has always been one of my major life goals, lingering in the back of my mind. However, my biggest challenge has always been finding something original to write about, something that could also capture my own interest.

Writing, after all, is largely about creating a book you’d want to read yourself, but one that hasn’t yet been written by someone else.

Throughout the process, there have been many more or less half-hearted attempts, but one day, the plot for my debut novel *MALI* suddenly became crystal clear to me.

*MALI* is a piece of dystopian climate fiction, and it’s a book I personally needed to read.

*MALI* is frighteningly realistic in its narrative, and it's impossible not to become even more aware of the climate crisis we are currently facing.

*MALI* should be read by EVERYONE.

MALI is a thrilling and terrifyingly eerie novel about the disasters humanity is likely to face if we continue to make the wrong choices.

MALI is closer to us than Brave New World and 1984.
